Set against the stunning backdrop of the Black Mountains, Grove Farm features three elegantly furnished bell tents perfect for relaxation and adventure. Guests can savour the scenery from a hammock or beside a cosy fire pit.

Tent Details

Named after local sheep breeds, the tents offer luxurious bedding and comfort. The Beulah tent, upgraded for 2024, and the Ryeland tent are spacious family options. For couples, the Texel tent provides privacy and a romantic setting.

Facilities

From 4 pm, guests receive a welcome pack with homemade treats. Facilities include high-quality cotton canvas tents, private toilets and showers with eco-friendly toiletries, fire pits, and hammocks. Cooking equipment and essentials like pantry items are provided. The site is dog-friendly, with pets required to be on a lead.

Essentials

All necessary cooking gear, utensils, and a cool box are supplied, with communal fridge access.

Directions

Carpenters Arms Pub you’ll take a right turning down the hill and then the first left, which will take you up our drive. Keep going to the top and then park on the right in the barn.

Please don’t use the postcode, this will get you close by but not to us exactly.

Grove Farm is ideally situated for walking directly to the Black Mountains and Offa’s Dyke Path, with Llanthony Priory nearby. Sugar Loaf, Skirrid Fawr, and Blorenge peaks, as well as the Brecon Beacons, are a short drive away.

Local delights include Rowlestone Ice Cream and Ty Gwyn Cider, with Rowlestone offering family fun. For wild swimming, join guided weekends or ask Emily for top spots.

Nearby Abergavenny has various dining options, but don’t miss the local Carpenters Arms pub for traditional meals.
