About Lake Vyrnwy Campsite
Lake Vyrnwy Campsite offers a lovely and peaceful setting, just a two-minute walk from the village shop and takeaway, and only one mile from the beautiful Lake Vyrnwy. The river Vyrnwy flows through the far side of the campsite, providing the perfect spot to sit and relax.
Accommodation
Pitches: Suitable for tents or small campervans (T4 size approx). Different-sized marked pitches are available, all with a parking space for one car if needed. Most pitches are 10m x 8m, with the smallest being 8.5m x 8.5m, all with a 2m gap between them.
Facilities
- Fire Pits and BBQs: Fire pits are welcome; each pitch has a concrete slab to keep them off the grass. You can bring your fire pit, or use one of the limited available on-site. Logs are available for purchase at £5 (cash only).
- Parking: Each pitch includes a parking space for one car.
- Amenities: Basic facilities are available to ensure a comfortable stay.
Rules and Regulations
- Accommodation Restrictions: The site is not suitable for motorhomes, large campervans, or caravans.
- Group Bookings: Large groups are only accommodated by prior arrangements via email, as the site is family-friendly and unsuitable for loud party groups.
- Firewood: Do not cut down any trees on the site for firewood; logs can be purchased on-site.
